Writer/Director Joel Juárez is known for his distinctive style that merges emotional depth with cinematic innovation. With a diverse portfolio that includes commercial work for global brands like Ford, Nike, Black Earth, and Budweiser, Joel’s storytelling transcends cultural and language barriers, demonstrating his skill in non-verbal communication and understanding of human emotion. A world traveler, he draws inspiration from his experiences, using his deep expertise in media and technology to craft narratives that resonate universally.

Joel’s career is defined by his passion for pushing the boundaries of storytelling. His debut feature film, Generation Last, a gripping sci-fi global warming thriller, showcases his ability to merge timely social issues with compelling cinematic experiences. Currently, he is developing two highly anticipated Mexico/US feature films: a Mexican Kaiju epic “The Lords of the Earth”and an international heist drama “Sacred Art Thieves“..

An MFA graduate from the prestigious UCLA School of Film & TV, Joel has been recognized as an “Auteur-to-watch” by LA Magazine, his award-winning dark comedy Pelea de Gallos (Showtime) earned him his second Directors Guild of America (DGA) Award, while his poetic film Sin Azul (PBS) garnered his first DGA Award and the coveted UCLA Spotlight Award. His documentary Eating Insects (Showtime), a stunning exploration of Mexico’s ancestral culinary traditions, further solidifies his reputation as a versatile and thoughtful filmmaker.

Joel’s talent has earned him mentorship opportunities with the DGA Latino Mentorship Program, where he shadowed directors Felix Alcala, Ed Ornelas, Rick Telles, and Jesus Treviño on major TV shows such as Prison BreakGrey’s AnatomyCriminal Minds, and Southland. He was also invited to the Sundance Film Festival as part of Kodak’s Emerging Filmmakers Program. Joel consistently creates films that bridge cultures.  He is currently developing immersive walk through experiences, and AR and VR experiences.

Jan Philipp Weyl

an’s feature film “Running Against the Wind” was selected by Ethiopia’s Minister of Culture and was Ethiopia’s first official Oscar entry in the category “Best International Feature Film” 2020 and received the prestigious German Peace Prize of Cinema in 2021. While still at school, Jan founded a fundraising association that has collected over 120.000 Euros to date for the funding of two schools in Ethiopia since 2008.

Founder and owner of R&B FILM production. Jan lives and works in Los Angeles. Jan studied film production at the University of Television and Film (HFF) Munich, as well as anthropology and art history at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. He was a student at Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School. Father of seven year old Paul and two year old Luisa.

Ara has worked with many major label artists and producers including mixes for Netflix, HBO and ESPN as well as very many talented Indies. His formal education and dual major in Jazz Studies and Audio Production combined with many years of experience and a genuine curiosity for all styles of music has helped shape my musical tastes and sensibilities.

A versatile creator with a passion for exploring complex themes, Ryan is driven to craft films that provoke thought and challenge expectations. From concept to completion, Ryan is dedicated to delivering impactful narratives that leave a lasting impression.

Tyler Downey

Video Editor,Art Director/ Storyboard Artist / Animator

Tyler is a Video Editor, Art Director, Storyboard Artist and Animator with over 8 years of industry experience under his belt. He has created animation and motion graphics for ad campaigns for global companies and organizations such as Costar Group and Sankofa. As an art director and storyboard artist, Tyler has overseen video production teams to create stunning independent films Fluorescence and What We’re Meant For, episodes for TVNZ series Kiri and Lou, and corporate advertisements for companies such as Jeffrey James Botanicals and Bio-Zyme Ltd. In his free time, Tyler writes and illustrates children’s books, and in 2021 he launched the art exhibition Crittlers, which raised over $15,000 for charity.

Carly Kafuretty

Illustrator/Storyboard Artist.

Carly Kafuretty is an American illustrator and storyboard artist. With over 10 years experience in the entertainment industry and educational sector, she has brought her clients’ ideas to life through her art. Some of her past employers include Disney Television Animation Studios, Marvel Animation Studios, MIT and Harvard among others. Kafuretty is also the creator of The Groundskeeper, an original animated series coming in 2028.

John Bevilacqua

Producer/Writer/Director/Music Supervisor

John Bevilacqua is a producer, writer, and director. He has worked with music mogul Miles Copeland for over thirty years. While at Copeland International Arts, he has marketed and released over 250 titles released worldwide through Universal Music Group Distribution with artist ranging from Sting to the Moody Blues. He won a Grammy Award in 2024 for The String Revolutions take on the Johnny Cash classic “Folsom Prison Blues.” He has produced the branded tours, Generation Axe, featuring Grammy Winning guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, Celebrating David Bowie w/ Todd Rundgren and Adrian Belew and BEAT featuring Adrian Belew / Steve Vai / Danny Carey / Tony Levin. He made his feature film directorial debut, Boardwalk Poets, starring Daniel Baldwin (Vampires) and James Oliver (Frasier) which was released worldwide through York International Entertainment. He wrote and directed the feature film, My Funny Valentine starring Tom Payne (The Walking Dead), Pippa Black (Neighbours), released by Filmworks Entertainment International. In 2019 Green Apple distribution released his documentary chronicling the homeless epidemic, No Way Home: Homeless In America. His latest feature Hollywood ’95 is set for 2025 release.

Mark Daniel Dunnett

Owner/Founder/ Composer/Audio Director/Executive Producer

Mark Daniel Dunnett is a distinguished composer who has received numerous accolades for his work. He is particularly recognized for his score in the critically acclaimed drama feature film “Papa,” which features a notable cast including Paul Sorvino, Daryl Hannah, Robert Scott Wilson, Ann Margret, David Proval, Vincent Pastore, Michael Madsen, and Mischa Barton. His composition for “Papa” garnered him three awards for Best Original Score at various festivals, along with three additional nominations.

As he embarks on the year 2025, Mark has already achieved significant success With two awards for his outstanding score in the feature film “Escobank.” This remarkable achievement includes the prestigious title of Best Composer from the renowned PAMAs (Paris Art & Film Awards) and the esteemed Best Score award from the Pisa, Italy Cinema Carnival International Film Festival. These accomplishments not only underscore Mark’s exceptional abilities but also bode well for his future endeavors in the industry. Throughout his career, Mark has composed music for more than 70 films, which encompasses over 45 feature films, as well as shorts, trailers, television series, and commercials. His work has been showcased on platforms such as AMC, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Famous Players, Universal/NBC, BET, YouTube, and Google Play, among others.

Born in Toronto Canada, Mark’s interest in music started when he was twelve years old after he appropriated his father’s guitar. Practicing ten hours a day for many years, He then played and performed
in various bands, with a focus on guitar instrumental music. 

 Enrolled at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Mark eagerly studied for two years, With a focus on classical theory, harmony and piano. The Royal Conservatory was the beginning of MarkS musical education, which
ultimately led him to Boston’s fabled Berklee College of Music, where he earned a B.A. in Film Scoring and Composition. While at Berklee, Mark studied under the late world renowned Harvard and Berklee
professor and classical composer John Bavicchi. During this time, He was also featured in Guitar World Magazine’s prestigious Mike Varney Home Town Heroes column, for outstanding guitar instrumental
composition.

Mark has scored and recorded orchestral music with live ensembles and full orchestras. The film scores
to “EscoBank” “Papa” and “Ambition’s Debt- were both recorded live with full orchestra with the
F.R.A.M.E.S project

Howard Karp

Sound Designer

Howard Karp is an accomplished sound designer with over three decades of experience in both post-production sound and music production. His career began in Philadelphia before he established himself in Los Angeles, where he has worked with leading studios including Technicolor, Deluxe, and Paramount Pictures. Howard’s extensive background also includes engagements at Sony Music Studios, Royaltone Studios, Mad Hatter, and Soundcastle.

He is best known for his contributions to major film titles such as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Cocaine Bear, as well as television projects like Average Joe and Brand New Cherry Flavor.

Growing up as a musician, Howard developed a discerning ear for arrangements and a deep appreciation for sonic details. While studying at Bloomsburg University, he gained hands-on experience at Susquehanna Sound and Kajem Studios. Later, he became one of the original core instructors at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he designed their inaugural curriculum.

Howard has engineered for renowned artists including Audioslave, Papa Roach, R.E.M., Stone Temple Pilots, and Bush, collaborating with notable producers such as Brendan O’Brien, Trevor Horn, and Rick Rubin. His work in music for films like Coyote UglyLegally Blonde, and Man on the Moon paved the way for his transition into sound restoration, where he meticulously restored hundreds of classic films dating back to the late 1920s for major studios.

His expertise in sound editing evolved into dialogue editing and full sound design for original content, with his work featured in film festivals for projects like Ashes to DustShit on Your LipWhat the Elf?!, and Swimmers. Additional feature credits include My Quarantine RomanceA Christmas Story Christmas, and Forgotten.
